Rock and Roll Dream (Three Sonnets)

Dreamed last night I was a rock and roll star
The band behind me and out front the crowd
There were drums, bass and electric guitar
We were rocking the joint! Damn we were loud!

Blowing all minds as the rock and roll roared
People went crazy, they jumped up and down
Like we'd invented some magic new chord
Like we were mystical prophets of sound

All eyes were on me as I started my song
They saw me, heard me knew I was it
I felt like a god with a cock a foot long
I was rocking, rolling, singing some shit!

And when the band started laying down grooves
The crowd broke loose cause it just had to move!

Decibel shock helpd the crowd in a daze

Light and smoke, a swirling laser machine
Our stage act magic was second to none
High above a giant video screen
Gave to our show a hidden dimension

On my feet a pair of high platform shoes
Spandex clothes, diamonds and sequined stars
My face all made up in bright colored hues
