Story Behind The Song
Written as part of a children's album, inspired by living in Southern California where rain is much needed. My daughter and I always sit in front of the window on a rainy day and sing, "Rain, Rain you can stay". This inspired me to write this song.

Lyrics
I woke up this morning and what did I see?
The rain coming down, coming down on me.
But I didn?t cry, didn?t carry on.
I just sat down, and I sang this song
Rain, rain you can stay.
You can stay another day.
If it weren?t for raindrops filling the sky,
There would be no you, no me, no life.
Of course I would rather be out in the park,
Playing with friends ?till the day gets dark.
But in that same park are all of these trees.
Without the rain think how brown they would be.
