Story Behind The Song

Being from the midwest and living for years with all the rain and storms I had the notion that it never rained in Arizona but after living there for awhile found out that people do have the same storms and so wrote a song about a couple and his regret over thinking if he went to Az his life would be easier.

Song Description

Guy is fed up with all the stress of being married and decides to leave to have less stress and work but his wife begs him to stay but he leaves anyway then later realizes leaving wasn't the answer and he does love the life and person he left behind.
