Lyrics

Mornings daydream
Has fallen into a deep sleep
Afternoons and evenings
They all just seem the same to me

Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe

Lay your head down
Against my chest your soul to make
Perriwinkle Sundays
They loom so large on the landscape

Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe

Rise now young one
We can still get a head start on the day
Rise now young son
You'll be a man but not today

Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe
