I began playing guitar in my early teens and played guitar in my High School Jazz Band. I wrote my first song three months after I started playing guitar. Since then I have written over 600 songs and have recorded over 150 improvisations and musical ideas of which I have drawn from to write songs. I studied music theory for two years in college and have studied classical guitar, jazz, and blues. I also took a music business course in college. I have been involved with songwriters associations in Arizona, California, and Utah. I am also a member of Just Plain Folks (jpfolks.com), TalentMatch.com., and ldsmusicians.com I have played in numerous bands, but have never been able to find other musicians who could catch the vision I have for my music. I have also done some professional recording projects. My claim to fame thus far is that one of the singers I hired to sing some of my songs in the studio went on to replace Lou Graham as the lead singer for Foreigner around 1989.
