artist comments: Thank you Brian, your review has given me the confidence boost I needed for sure. Friends & family are always going to tell you something is 'great' - having it run past an experienced pair of ears is invaluable. I wouldn't have said The Turtles were my biggest influence by any stretch of the imagination, but Happy Together is such a great song... you know something? I honestly still can't hear the similarities, which goes to show an artist is sometimes deaf to their own music! I asked Echo to play Funny Face by The Muffs, but it just started playing random songs by The Muppets, & I got kind of carried away. Going to try and redo the vocals & mix a bit over the summertime, and will be in touch again for sure. Thank you again, sincerely!

artist comments: Greetings Brian, I do indeed appreciate your feedback. Your note regarding percussion makes alot sense. Its funny because I have heard things like get the point, cut the intro or that bridge section doesnt work. While those may be vaild points, I appreciate your saying experiment and most importantly stripping things down a bit. Its hard because I hear so many possible ideas but I get it. I also see your point in warming some of my sounds. I will check out your suggested artists for reference. Thanks and regards - J.P.
