I'm a singer-songwriter from the New York area. A few years ago
I started taking guitar lessons from a guy named Rob Stoner who was once Bob Dylan's bandleader and bass player. After I finally gathered the courage to play Rob some of my songs, he told me how much he liked them and that we should record them. The next thing I knew, Rob, myself and Luther Rix, Dylan's ex-drummer were in a great studio owned by John Guth, who's won a Grammy and played with Suzanne Vega, among others. A year later my first CD, "Lovers and Other Strangers" was finished and I've been selling it online and playing at clubs in New York City and the surrounding area. I've also won an award in a songwriting contest and the CD has been getting a lot of internet radio play. It's all exceeded my wildest expectations and I'm loving every minute of it.
