Mark R Lightcap is a published songwriter and a member of the performing rights society, ASCAP. His songs have been played on National Television and he currently has single song contracts with Rex Benson Music, Los Angeles, Crowe Entertainment, and Dream Seekers Publishing in Nashville. Mark writes everything from Hip-Hop to Country. He won the Country Category of the Great American Song Contest with a song about his wife called “You See the Rose.”

Mark’s musical roots go back to the 60’s. He was a member of the San Francisco Bay Area rock band Pendragon. www.pendragon.homestead.com Pendragon enjoyed a 10-year stint as a major player in the Bay Area music scene. The great writers from the 60’s like Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Lennon & McCartney, John Fogerty and many others have had a big influence on his writing.
