Lumin-Essence is a fresh  sound to the music scene, infusing pop and latin rhythms with a little bit of rock and R&B. It was founded by two long-time friends, Mark Montellese and Debra Sosa in 6/06. It was clearly two souls vibrating together to the same frequency, right from the start. Their  song, "Hang In There Baby" was no sooner posted on Broadjam, when there was interest from movie producers.  Mark and Debra have been on a roll ever since and have many songs in their repertoire. Debra sings lead with Mark doing some back-up singing while Mark plays most of the instruments. Debbie and Mark's lyrics tell stories of longing, love, survival, spiritual and actual events.
