I was born in a small town called Nakuru which is a tourist destination that is world famous for her birds - specifically Flamingoes. Music has been ringing in my head since I was a little boy. A cousin of mine introduced me to Reggae at a very early age, when I was about six - I could listen to Bob Marley and Peter Tosh for hours and my cousin would try and translate all that was being sung.
Later on I fell in love with African music that also inspired me greatly todate. I loved listening to Kenyan Coastal music, East, West and Central African tunes and learnt to play the African drums and flute.
I believe in fairness, Equal Rights and justice. Actually I owe my musical career to a beautiful American lady called Sarah Marshall who taught me songwriting for close to ten years with breaks in between. She is the one who inspired and encouraged me to take music seriously.
However my first song was done in Nashville in the year 2003 and was titled "We Need Some Peace".

Starting Off As A Poet
I have loved music and started singing since I was a little boy (singing tunes of great bands like the Wailers, Toots and The Maytals.
I seriously began my musical career in the year 1994 as an inexperienced poet. Later on I was to have my Poetry published by the Library of Congress under www.poetry.com website. More of my poetry was later to be published by other organizations promoting literature.
It is hard to believe that I began music only with a pen and inspiration. A wonderful American lady called Sarah Marshall was to later - from 1995 onwards, teach me the art of songwriting. I owe a lot to her.
Musical Credits
I have one single called "We NeedSome Peace" that I wrote during the Iraq - U.S.A. war in 2003. I could not imagine all thsoe tankers rolling to the battle front with terror stricken children crying allover. There was war also in Sudan and Somalia. These are the main events that triggered my lyrics. Otherwise the world has been experiencing wars allover in Mauritania,Madagascar, and so on. Can'twe all just live as one as God commanded?
In 2006 I entered the Jp Folks U.S.A. International songwriting competition in the lyrics only section. I entered a lyric "Only One Race (The Human Race) and finished amongst the top 50 best worldwide!I thought that at this moment my musical star is steadily rising and have secured some big time songwriting contract with reggae artists.
In 2007 I entered six songs into the UK International Songwriting Competition and managed to have five enter the semi final stage and one got a "High Commendation" meaning that it almost entered the semis

I Have A Dream by ABBA - I actually kept singing this song every time I thought I was failing in music. It literally lifted me up and put me back on track!
Redemption Song by the late great Bob Marley also made me view music from a different perspective besides entertaining the masses.
Equal Rights by Peter Tosh also did a lot in transforming me into a Reggae Artist. I believe in Equal Rights and justice for both the rich and the poor.
