DEADMAN recently recorded their second full-length album entitled, Our Eternal Ghosts, with acclaimed producer and engineer Mark Howard (U2, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Peter Gabriel, Emmy Lou Harris, Lucinda Williams).

DEADMAN recorded with Mr. Howard previously on their first full-length album, Paramour, which was later released on Lakeshore Records.

Paramour received glowing reviews and DEADMAN's song "Ghost Story" was featured on NPR's "All Songs Considered". "Rosa Marie" was featured on NBC's hit television series "ED."

DEADMAN was formed in 1999 when Steven Collins decided to take his music in a new creative direction that combined the attitude of Mexico and ambient rock-n-roll. With the help of Sherilyn Collins (singer/organist), DEADMAN mixes the vibe of The Doors, the heart of The Band, and the voices of Graham Parsons and Emmylou Harris with Collins' Dylan-esc lyrics.

In January 2004, the editors of Billboard Magazine and Disc Makers selected DEADMAN out of 1700 bands as the Grand Prize Winner in the Independent Music World Series.
In 2001, Bug Music began administering DEADMAN's music. DEADMAN signed with The Agency Group as a touring agency and is managed by Gold Mountain Entertainment (Ron Stone/Peter Shurkin).
