Info
"Cybertron" started in mid 1970's, mainly composing music for planetarium & laser-light shows; some radio & TV jingles, and many other projects. Synths used back then included: MOOG Modular Synthesizers, ARP 2500, ARP 2600, and a MiniMOOG. Cybertron's "one-man-band" founder, Richard Scott, was a studio recording engineer at many state-of-the-art studios in Memphis Tennesse. Richard's musical influences came from the 'super groups' of the 70's & 80's such as Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Yes; Pink Floyd; Jeff Beck & Jam Hammer; Jean Luc Ponte; Joe Walsh; and Jethro Tull. Since Richard was working with many 'Memphis musicians', he also enjoyed R&B, Funk, and blues. Richard's style is often a fusion of many of these styles, as well as some classical influences.
Richard currently uses synthesizers made by Yamaha, Korg, and a super-sized Synthesizers.com modular synthesizer in his home studio in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.
