Corby Yates, 22, was hailed as a "young Mozart of the blues", "wunderkind guitarist", or "child prodigy" since his first public shows at the tender age of 14. Eight busy years later, many hundreds of gigs coupled with endless woodshedding hours have greatly expanded both his vocal and musical chops.

On May 19, 2003, NTS Records in Paris, France became the first label to officially release Yates' 2nd CD, called "Back From Yesterday". RTL Records in Belgium has also licensed the album, with a fall release scheduled. The shopping process is continuing for a US label. The new CD was recorded in late 2002 at Dawghouse Studios in Burbank, CA. It contains 8 new songs and new versions of "Back From Yesterday" and "Salty Pain". In addition, there are acoustic covers of "Dallas" by Johnny Winter and "Angel" by Jimi Hendrix.

In December 2001, Yates released his first CD, simply titled "Corby Yates". Featuring six originals and five cover songs by artists with styles ranging from Doyle Bram
