In 2003, N.J. Roots-rocker Chrisie Santoni was awarded two honors for her song "Mona Lisa." First, she won the Grand Prize in the Unisong worldwide songwriting contest. Then later the same year, she placed 2nd in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for the same song. In October 2004, Santoni was chosen as the lone U.S. representative at the worldwide music festival, Universetalent Prague. One of only twelve songwriters/performers selected, Santoni was chosen for her song "It’s All Inside."

Santoni's first full-length CD "Lover Fighter," was named one of the "10 Best CD's of 2004" by award-winning journalist and publisher of Upstage Magazine, Gary Wien, and by Google-rated pop culture e-zine www.e-crap.com.

A 5-time Asbury Music Awards nominee, Santoni’s music has been heard in three feature films.
