Press Release Fall 2008

Mark Rosenér's voice is the most obvious and recognisable aspect of the duo's sound. His distinctive and androgynous, clean voice by a male singer is not often heard, and he holds his audience - both female and male - in a tight grip reminiscent of Brett David Bowis's style.
In a part of Denmark called Funen, Mark grew up as the son of a manager and a trilingual secretary. His uncle introduced him to the guitar and he started writing his own songs at the age of 14. After a couple of years of practicing the guitar he formed his own band. As his musical ambitions grew bigger in 1996, now having formed Jupiter Day, Mark wanted to try out his luck in the capital of Denmark. In 2001 he achieved one of his goals releasing his gold-selling debut album on Sony Music with his band Jupiter Day.
In 2007 after releasing 3 albums and gaining lots of success - he quitt the band due to musical differences between the members - He figured he had to try something new to expand his knowledge of life - He started working with James Thomas and formed Rosenér and cast his love on wrting and playing Motown influenced song with his backing band.
He's now ready to let the world hear what he's been up to for two years.
