Introduction To The Funk
Marc Cado is a guitarist and vocalist who was born in Detroit Michigan. Growing up studying funk, r&b, soul, pop, rock, jazz, and classical layed the groundwork for music that showcases great versatility. Cado recalls meeting George Clinton (Parliament Funkadelic) while hanging out at longtime friend Amp Fiddler's house. "George was the master of funk when I was coming up. I loved how every musical part in his songs were so creative and funky, he states." Cado writes music that shows much respect for music from the past, but keeps it in the present.
