Andrew Papadeas is well known for his work as a computer music composer and electronic musician. His compositions are mainly, but not solely, computer-generated and involve complex blends of sounds, intricate mixing, and bold gestures. A summa cum laude graduate with a Master of Arts degree in music composition, he is an honorary member of the national honor society Phi Eta Sigma, and the national music honor society Pi Kappa Lambda. His music has been featured on DVD videos and short films. Recent projects include sound designer/ computer programmer for Spiral.Blue (multimedia ensemble, specializing in live audio/video improvisation). He has a well-rounded musical background with extensive analysis, studio technique, electronic/ instrumental music composition, and art installations.
