This unique individual was thrust into a musical household -surrounded by the soulful voice of his Mom and a father who- as a member of a band- played a myriad of instruments. His love affair with music started early on in life -when his distinct voice earned him the honour of singing at weddings and other functions- and continued throughout his secondary school education where he joined the choir and proceeded to rule the latest music art form at the time-Ragga or popularly called Jungle. 1989 marked a turning point in his life, this year marked his first real encounter with hip-hop and particularly with the every popular track Ice Ice baby, a track that struck in him a bone deep yearning to learn how to rap. Picking up the rudiments of this art form from friends, Delli continued to expand and sharpen his talents and skills back at home. With a newly purchased piano as his faithful companion Delli started to flex his creative muscles, producing beats and writing lyrics to his music. Since then Delli has grown, deepened and has come a long way from his days rapping to the tunes of Vanilla Ice. His style can only be described as a renaissance of the purest form of hip-hop; a re-education into what hip-hop truly is and should be.
