The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, The Beatles, and Motown.

Through all of my musical endeavors, my love for song writing has endured. "Internal Monologue", my first solo release, is a collection of my personal favorites. My musical career began at age 15 with the Mods, a Cleveland band that became The Choir. The Choir charted a #1 regional hit, "It's Cold Outside," which also became a top 40 hit. I was the lead singer. Eventually I did a hitch in Vietnam. Upon my return, I joined some former band mates in a band known as the Raspberries. From 1971-1973 I wrote, played, sang, and toured with them and recorded three albums with Capitol Records. The Raspberries emerged on the pop scene with "Go All The Way." The song climbed to #5 on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 list and was named one of Top 100 singles of all-time by SPIN magazine. A number of hits and four albums followed. "Go All The Way" earned a gold record and can be heard in Cameron Crowe's movie "Almost Famous." Mojo Magazine listed Raspberries among their "100 Essential Cult Heroes" in the February 2000 issue. After departing the Raspberries I formed a band called Dynamite with Jim Bonfanti of the Raspberries and Kevin Raleigh, later keyboardist with the Michael Stanley Band. In 1980, I formed The Secret, a classic Rock and Roll band that performed to packed clubs in the Cleveland area. In March 2000, along with two former Raspberries, I recorded a six song EP. That CD, "Refreshed", has been touted as one of the best pure pop, rock n' roll CD's in years.
