Playing drums since the age of 12, Roland James has been fasinated by complex patterns and problems. Highly skilled in math and blessed with fast hands, Roland James has constantly been trying to merge his two passions into his own drumming and life style. Accepted into the School of Music at Michigan State University for Music Education in 1999, Roland James took off thinking teaching music was in his future only to realize his real passion was in music production and performance . A recent graduate of Lansing Community College with a degree in Media Technology specializing in Audio Production/Recording, Roland James today continues his freelance performance work as well as his interest in audio production and recording.

From a drumline backround Josh utilizes his speed and rudimental ability on his main passion, Latin Percussion. With a highly competitive nature, he continues to strive for perfection in all areas of drumming. In writing and production Josh has a great mind, offering consistency and creative thinking bringing fun and excitement to the studio at Cherry Hill.
