Welcome to my Home Page. The drum set recordings on this site were recorded on an inexpensive tape recorder using 2 overhead mikes, with no digital enhancements and no overdubs. The fact that I would even use a term like digital enhancements should be evidence enough that I'm no audio engineer. Though these tracks were originally recorded as scratch tracks, I nonetheless put them forth in their unvarnished state as I hone my drum set skills, focusing on space, musicality and the eclectic. My early influences were Frank Zappa, The Tony Williams Lifetime, Weather Report, and Return to Forever. Throw in for good measure The Archies, The Monkeys, and Lanclot Link. Karen Carpenter will always have a special place in my heart! Today, I'm influenced by Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, Medea Benjamin, and Amy Goodman. Though not drummers, they each make a big sound that is heard around the world! Peace

Procession...Very, very nice. Refreshing-no digital enhancements indeed. I say this as I program my drum parts for my tunes. No excuses. I do attempt to humanize the programs as much as I can with nuance. Keep it up.
All the best to you
