Stu Cat

Born & raised in Miami, Florida's Dade County West Perrine area, Stu Cat music has moved all over the Eastern Region in areas like Miami, Maryland, D.C., and New England! Stu Cat hit the Miami, Florida scene in the mid-late 90's with friends Corey Harris (Better know as Fish) and Gerald "G-Man" Hoggan to form a hood Rap group named, "Yard Boys". The group was named after the nickname of a Project Housing Unit where they all use to sell drugs and record songs. The group got discovered by a local label owner by the name of Lorenzo "Live" Haynes who really admired the young talented individuals because of their fearlessness. After about 2 years together Stu Cat seemed to be the most focused out the group and parted ways-"Fish had called me up one night saying he wanted to talk, and he told me that he was feeling like him and G-Man were holding me back. So he said that he thought that it'll be better for us if I went solo" says Stu Cat.

Stu Cat made the decision to go solo, and in 2004 left the beautiful weather of Miami for the horrible cold of Boston Massachusetts! Stu Cat showed up on the Boston Hip-Hop scene in 2005, and in 2009 he is known to be one of the best Artist to date in the New England area. Stu Cat has been sharing the stage with Artist like Styles P, Devine the Dude, and Cash Money Records affiliate Freeway(Jay Z's well know Philly's left hand man) and Brother Ali to name a few. Stu Cat has air play on some of New England's best Radio stations! Jam'n 94.5FM's Launch pad show(Hosted by DJ On & On), Emerson College's 88.9FM Radio, Boston University's 89.3FM WTBU Student Radio, and Rhode Island's 90.7 WXIN Radio stations. Stu Cat has currently been showing up on the College Circuit thru out the nation and has been rocking in major Club Venues like The Middle East in Cambridge and the Harper's Ferry in Boston Massachusetts quite a bit lately. With a Mixtape about to drop this winter, and an Album(Album being brought to you by LEEDZ Edutainment LLC, a well know show promoter in Boston, MA) due out next year, it seems like Stu Cat is aiming to cater to the growing buzz and fan base he's ignited on the East side! Keep your ear to the streets for this up and coming Hip-Hop/Rap Artist as he grow to be a household name in the ever growing Music Industry.
