A Glimpse Behind the Music

Welcome to the music of Stephen Evangelista. A native of Rhode Island, Stephen is a self-taught, multifaceted singer/songwriter and keyboard artist with extensive experience as a performer and studio musician.

Influenced by such artists as the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon, Stephen has had many successful performances including those given for executive government officials as well as legends such as Loretta Young.

Stephen's unique style often incorporates famous events and legendary people to create heartfelt homages to some of history's most defining moments. His music has been used as an inter-disciplinary tool to teach at various schools and colleges. One of Stephen's works, "Farewell Dachau" is currently a part of the Rhode Island Memorial Holocaust Museum.

Stephen's collection of works includes a variety of genres from folk to new age contemporary music. Stephen has worked on projects with other musical artists including the highly renowned international ambient artist, Richard Bone.
