LetterstotheDevil is my little project I started in 1998. I wanted to be able to create music all on my own. Since Im a guitar player/songwriter I wanted to focus on drums, bass, and sound FX. Ive been happily mixing sound files at home for nine long years. Just so you know when I go to do my guitar tracks it is done on a separate computer and nothing is looped, cut, copied, or pasted. All guitars are played live and straight through by me. So you might hear some mistakes but I really dont care mistakes are meant to happen. Bio: I have played music since I can remember. It all started with an electric keyboard and grew from there. I played alto sax all through out my school years. Guitar was something I always wanted to play ever since I saw the Nine Inch Nails video Head like a Hole. In seventh grade at the age of twelve I got my wish, and Ive been playing since. I played in several bands some were good experiences and others were not so great. It is not easy to get a band together and stay together. I have loads of respect for those who stick it out. Before I went off into my own little world I did take the time to go into a recording studio with some friends. It turned out very bad. The mistake we all made was we were not prepared at all. Plus the money you have to spend is not cheap either. I ended up leaving and going off on my own and Im glad I did. One of the things I did take with me out of that studio was board functions, sound levels, and mixing. Sometimes things do not work out, but you have to find the good and take it with you.
