Story Behind The Song

This is the vocal version of the song, Dapper. The words were written simultaneously with the music, however, as it evolved this instrumental version preceded the vocal version. Once I had the right vocal artist (Amy Harvey), I created a new arrangement to find the right key for her.

Song Description

This is an instrumental lounge jazz arrangement of the vocal version of Dapper. The key is a different arrangement than the vocal version since it is written in A minor. The vocal version is in D minor. The instruments are trumpet, trombone, clarinet, flute, saxophone, piano, vibes, acoustic bass and drums. The tempo is 116 BPM like the vocal version.
