Story Behind The Song
co-wrote it with a buddy of mine that lives in Seattle. We had a lot of fun tracking this. Then later I was able to go a little beyond and get studio musicians and do a full on production of the song. That is what your hearing now.
Song Description
This was a song that I wrote after a guy stole one of my songs when I arrived in Nashville. He took the song (the entire music that I wrote with the hook) and moved it up a key. He got a publishing deal on it, and then went no where with it. It proves that you won't get very far on some one elses art. You truly reap what you sew.

Lyrics
You really think you know me,
You think you really do,
Your smile it only sugar coats,
the sourness of you,
wasteful conversation
common time frustration,
I never should have listened,
though intriguing this position,
chorus:
Maybe its me, maybe you'll know,
Maybe we'll see the way that it goes,
Maybe its you, maybe who knows,
I guess maybe is the way that it goes,
You really got it bad, at least from where I'm at,
and as the spot light moves, your always chasing it,
I perceive all your dreams, they reflect mine so it seems,
I never should have listened though intriguing this position,
chorus
Your craftiness articulates, all the things that you manipulate,
You certify my doubts just by what your all about,
alone in your rendition, retaining recognition,
you certify my doubts just by what your all about,
chorus
maybe, maybe maybe
I guess maybe is the way that it goes
