Story Behind The Song
Story Behind the Album: Beneath the Silence
Composed by Jerry Ware
In a forgotten town cloaked by perpetual mist, music was outlawed after a century-old tragedy -- a fire in the town's concert hall that took the lives of an entire symphony during a final rehearsal. Since that day, silence became sacred, and instruments were buried beneath floorboards, sealed behind walls, hidden beneath layers of grief and superstition.
But one cello remained.
A young composer, haunted by visions and whispers in his sleep, returns to the ruins after uncovering a tattered journal left behind by his grandfather -- the cellist who perished in the fire. In that journal are unfinished notations, melodic fragments scrawled in haste, and a single phrase repeated: "Music is the key to truth."
Jerry enters the hall by moonlight, cello in hand. With each note he plays, the dust trembles. Shadows stir. The air thickens with emotion. What begins as a simple elegy becomes a summoning -- of memories, lost voices, and unresolved pain. The hall itself responds, groaning with time, echoing with the unplayed notes of a century.
"Beneath the Silence" is a requiem for the forgotten, a love letter to the ghosts that remain when music is silenced too long. The cello leads the way -- not as a performance, but as a conversation with what once was.
Each track unearths another layer of the mystery.
Each movement brings the listener closer to the truth.
And in the final swell -- silence breaks.
