It was 40 years ago since I left home to play music - simply for the love of it. I have played drums with some of Australia’s true musical pioneers and have met many wonderful people. I have had many great times. I have been working at home writing songs and playing as much as I can for many years, with no thought of producing these songs for release, as I was always just happy to play drums, I didn’t bother to do solo work, until I met Jimmy Sloggett. We became good friends and one day he asked if he could hear my songs. Jimmie then introduced me to his son Matthew, who like Jim has a truly wonderful love and passion for music. I sent my multi tracks to Matthew who then helped me complete the process, with love patience and passion. Thank you so much to Jim and Matthew Sloggett, Ed Stanley, Julie Ann Ashley, all of my family and friends for their wonderful support. Also many thanks must go to all the people who over the years have genuinely supported my endeavours. Most of all, thank you Jane, the love of my life. Making my life’s work music and playing drums with some of Australia’s most inspiring musicians - it was time to complete some of my songs, straight from my heart.
