This album has something for everyone! Every song fits into a different "genre" of music, stylistally speaking, with one congruent message pointing the way lyrically. Laus Deo is the title track, which is a calypso-style song which says "praise be to God!". New Start is the second track, which is a blues ballad reaching out to the lost and lonely, far from home. Track 3, Angel Celebration is a bodiddley rocker that reminds us that there is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents. Track 5 is a Latin mambo song called Thursday Nite, written on a thursday nite, about a thursday nite. Track 6 is a straight up rocker staright from the book of job, a prayer asking, "Lord help me to see, make me understand, how the rocks in the road are just part of the plan." Track 7 is a country rock song questioning the commercialization of Christmas called "what in the world is Xmas?" Track 8 is a bluegrass tune giving credit where credit is due.... "It's got to be God". track 9 is a country-styled ballad called Tattered, torn and reborn. and finally a traditional gospel arrangement of "And we bid you goodnght" as track 10
