Road Dreams is a wonderful mix of catchy melodies combined with an inviting folk rock groove backed by Kim Jones' warm smoky voice. Producer Lance Bendiksen brings aboard great local players including John Magnie of the Subdudes who accompanies Jones on piano and accordian which adds a delightful New Orleans style to some of the tracks. Jones is an accomplished story teller, whose music is as rich melodically as it is lyrically enchanting.
