I spotted Uncle Billy when on holiday with my wife and children at Butlins Wonder West (now Craig Tara) holiday camp at Ayr in Scotland. I approached Uncle Billy to see if he was interested in recording a song and as a result DA-Be-Doo-Da-Be-Day was born. Released in 1996, the song sold well after children saw Uncle Billy's performances, which were outstanding and captivated them. Uncle Billy still performs there today.
