The first full-length album from London-based music producer/sound engineer, Dino Sofos. Formerly the keyboardist for top South African ambient-rock band, Fetish, "Awakening" combines music influences of Massive Attack, Depeche Mode and Orbital with sprinklings of Morcheeba and Cafe Del Mar. The album also features guest vocals from Lucie "Hermione" Burns, who has sung for Cafe Del Mar (Jose Padilla), Afterlife, Asian Dub foundation and MJ Cole. One of the single "Breathe Sunshine" (featuring Delenta), has already reached no.2 on the Dutch and Swiss iTunes electronic charts and has been remixed by legendary German DJ Paul van Dyk, who was recently voted the world's no.1 DJ for 2005.
