"Your Volunteers Stand True" Gary McVay

Gary McVay's release, "Your Volunteers Stand True", contains nine military tribute songs and five Southern Gospel songs. Track #1, contains the hit song of Marine Corps Valor, "And They All Came Home But Me (Once A Marine)", written by Cpl. Tyson G. McKinster,USMC and former Army Warrant Officer, Kirk W. Boland and his son Wes Boland. After the song was featured in a story by the Marines, hits to Gary's website, www.gloryland.com , took off. With Marines downloading the song from Gary's site. You may read the story at this Marine Corps web address, http://www.marines.mil/marinelink/mcn2000.nsf/lookupstoryref/2005818105145 Many of the other songs also have a military story. Like the song, "And Have You Ever Known", which features Medal of Honor recipients, the late, MSG Gary I. Gordon, SFC Randall D. Shughart and SFC Paul Ray Smith. ALL three are the only ones to date to earn the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam Conflict. I also like the song, "The Ballad of Toby Keith (Freedom's Voice Lives)". Mr. Keith has stuck by those who serve, this song gives him a "High Five" back. You may read some of the other stories about the songs on the BOLAND MUSIC website at www.kirkwboland.com Gary McVay has performed in the Pigeon Forge area for years, and has used his talents to spread God's Word with music. Gary teamed up with Kirk and Wes Boland to produce "Your Volunteers Stand True", as a tribute to the men and women that serve and have served in our armed forces. As Gary also has served, the two veterans seemed to get a groove with this CD that also remembers those left behind by the "Fallen Heroes". I hope you enjoy this CD, and if you run into any of our "Heroes", thank them for your freedom.
