Round 2 is (unsurprisingly) our second album, delivering more deliciously funky grooves and the usual jazzy overtones, but this time with a hint more 'pop' dare we say. This time we've recorded 11 songs 9 of which are original (again all by Phil) with two covers: Time Is Running Out by Muse and the Aerosmith classic, Dream On, both of which we've given a funky makeover. The originals cover a wide range of topics yet again, casting a sharp and sardonic eye on the plight, romantic and otherwise, of 21st century man, observing the humorous side of heartbreak, humiliation and misanthropy (we genuinely hope these make you smile!!). The songs were again all recorded at our favourite studio, Univibe in Birmingham, engineered by Joel Spencer and with our producer, Bert Smorenburg at the helm. Bert then mixed all the tracks at Smoor Studios in Rotterdam, and they were mastered at Wisselord Studios.
