Salary Man

From Electronic Music: All manner of bleep and boosterisms illustrate this debut from Avon, an English electronic music buff who I'm guessing used to enjoy the music and sound effects in early BBC science fiction more than the images that accompanied them. Dreamy, borderline sleaze whafts up through most of the slower groovier tracks, while Esquavelian jazziod flavors the more upbeat offerings. Vocals from Vicky Burley and Paul "Sexy Club" Ramos effectively differentiate between the mood music and the radio cuts. The use of monophonic echo reverb synth is what I'm liking best this first listen. It effectively puts the music way out where the likes of Moog Cookbook like to hang out. Repeat has been selected.
