Broadjam 2008 6-Pack Competition
3…2…1…Go! It’s time to gear up once again and tackle the fourth annual Broadjam 6-Pack Competition. The 6-Pack consists of six individual songwriting challenges, which take place between June 10, 2008 and December 14 , 2008. Start slow and warm up because each challenge gets more difficult as we go. Ranging from best song of your choice to best Rap to the final secret challenge, this year’s competition will surely be a challenge for one and all. |

ISSA Songwriting Contest (Session 2)
The 2008 Independent Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Songwriting Contest is an international competition supporting the disciplines of songwriting, musicianship and performance. Guitar Player Picks
It’s June, and that means the editors at Guitar Player will be looking for a new round of songs featuring stellar guitar playing to review in their November issue. Broadjam members submit songs to be evaluated by the editors of Guitar Player, who then select the track with the most outstanding guitar playing plus four runners’ up. The winner will receive a photo and full review, and each runner up will receive a photo and short review, which will be published in the November '08 issue of Guitar Player magazine.

Straight-Up Sound Demo Contest
Blues, Country and Rock Songwriters who are looking for a professional demo of one of their songs produced by an industry veteran are invited to submit to the Straight-Up Sound Demo Contest. Johnny Neel will pick one song based on lyrics and melody, not recording quality, which will be produced, arranged, and performed by legendary artist Johnny Neel in his own studio – Straight-Up Sound, and given to the winning artist to use as a demo.

Clonmel Song Contest
In its sixth year, the Clonmel Song Contest is one of the largest and most successful Irish music contests in the world. On Friday, November 7, 2008, ten finalists will perform in front of a live audience at this year's Grand Finale in Clonmel, Ireland. There will be a minimum of three judges at the Grand Final at the white Memorial Theatre to pick the first, second and third place winners.
