Twirl's Song Placed in Two Disney TV Series
Congratulations to Twirl, whose song "Get Up and Dance" has garnered placements in two different television shows airing on Disney, Family Channel, and Nickelodeon!

Music supervisor's comments:
Twirl is one of those bands that are perfect for TV and film. The reason why we picked "Get Up and Dance" is because the production, the vocal track, the lyrics and the melodies were perfect for the Disney TV series we were working on and what was being asked for.

Listen to how fun the song sounds and how perfect it can fit to many different scenes on film. When an audience hears a song for the first time on a TV show, that song has to catch that person's attention right away. This song is a perfect example. You don't need to hear it 5 times before it grows on you. So far, "Get Up and Dance" has been placed on two Disney TV shows and more of Twirl's songs are sitting in the hands of other music supervisors.

Broadjam artist Donny B. Lord getting alot of attention after a recent placement
Broadjam artist Donny B. Lord (D.B.L.) is gaining a lot of interest after his song "Get On The Floor" was placed in a popular TV show by way of submission to one of Broadjam?s licensing opportunities. Here?s what he recently told us about the placement:

"I am the protege of Jackie Jackson, eldest brother of Michael Jackson and member of the legendary Jackson Five. I was rated the #5 Unsigned Artist on MySpace last year. My placement through Broadjam on a popular reality show that showcased super-producer Timbaland?s son?s birthday party garnered so much attention that viewers were blowing up blogs requesting more information about me and my song. Jackie and I are in the process of parlaying the attention I received into a record deal with worldwide distribution. As an artist, I am a cross between Bob Marley and Michael Jackson, contemporary Pop music with Caribbean island roots. I think Broadjam is a great community."

Jag Star is a music supervisors dream. Every song that Sarah Lewis writes is perfect for TV and film.
