TU SCALE is a "dirt under the finger nails" kind of a rock band, determined to re-direct the course of Rock back onto a melodic, edgy, and lyrically meaningfull path. All of TU SCALE'S songs are centered around singer/songwriter/guitarist, Mike Tabak's, sobering and tragic advances on the battlefield of relationships and love. However, not all is dismal and dark. The instrumentation and melody of TU SCALE'S songs tend to give listeners a heightened morale and give hope that the lyrics might not suggest.
Though heavy and thought provoking, this power trio tends to get feet tapping and heads bobbing, both at their live shows and from their CD. With rockin' verses and heavy, melodic choruses, TU SCALE proves to be a pleasant deviation from the punk-oriented, whiny, 3-power chord, Rock heard on mainstream radio today. A refreshing idea to say the least, and their music says the rest.
