Tony Ozier has been writing and performing soul and hip hop music for over six years with diverse independent groups and artists throughout the country. Donning positive, energy filled lyrical stylings, mixed with a six-piece live band – The DDFC – he is skilled in drawing in hungry crowds and leaving them wanting for more.

Ozier has been a musician since birth. Self-taught, he plays drums and keys, and feels most at home banging out his timeless sounds out on stage. Hailing from Texas, he has lived in Michigan, Florida, and California working to promote his music and hone his craft in front of live audiences. He won a LA Music Award for Best Independent Funk Artist of the Year and has gained a strong underground following trailing his tracks across the country.

Ozier’s debut album, Mental Candy, marks his inaugural experience working with producer BeatsGalore. Using primarily live instrumentation on the album, The DDFC breathes a new life into BeatsGalore’s music production.
