Formed in 1996, the Columbia, SC based rock group Tokyo Joe has become one of the most popular and recognizable bands in the Southeast. The band has sold in excess of 10,000 copies of it's four independently released CD's and maintains a tour schedule that averages 170 shows a year. From sharing the stage with acts such as Tonic, Seven Mary Three, and Sister Hazel, to starring in television commercials and radio promos, Tokyo Joe always manages to remain highly visible to the public. The band's large fan base, over 10,000 fans registered for mailing list and e-mail list, makes Tokyo Joe the most popular band in any venue they play.
