Thomas Dohman has lived in the Red River Valley all of his life. Descendant of early settlers in the 1880's from the Toranto area, Germany and Illinois Tom has been known for his singing in the area. He has been a member of the Master Chorale, Civic Opera, Community Theatre and many other performing groups throughout the Valley. While with the Master Chorale he performed as tenor soloist in Handel's Messiah several times, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Mozart's Requiem and various other master works. Tom is a UND graduate and has studied voice with several teachers most notably Ricardo Visus of Spain and Dr. Brian Tucker at the University of North Dakota. He has been active in Music Ministry at St. Michael's Catholic Church as a church choir member and cantor at the celebration of the Mass at noon for many years. After suggestions from audience members, parishioners, friends and family he recorded an audio CD entitled, Thomas Dohman Tenor Sings.
