Jon and Richard are the Trophy Club. They play music that has been influenced by the modern rock movement of the late '70s that infiltrated and got revitalized in the early to mid-'90s. The Trophy Club pays respect to, but does not limit themselves to, The Velvet Underground, Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers, Spoon, Sonic Youth, and Pavement. Jon and Richard are both travelling enthusiasts. Richard just got back from spending a few months in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA. Jon spent his Fall Semester in Cleveland, TN. They look forward to hitting the road again soon. To where? Hopefully somewhere beautiful.
