'Top notch - urban block, punk rock plus a hot frock' Hot Press Magazine, Dublin;
A shared love of The Buzzcocks, The White stripes , Joy Divison, The Duke Spirit, Nirvana and all raucous soulful music influenced our own rough hewn punkish rock. Started by co - songwriters Matt McHugh and FHM cover girl turned 'War Child' charity worker Sarah Coombes, the band have already featured at the world famous Glastonbury Festival and have played at London town's best venues such as Islington Academy including support slots with the Zutons and Babyshambles. We always put on a good show and have built a growing following throughout the capital. The band have had radio airtime and interviews in London and the North of England in the UK and have gained interest from former Thin Lizzy producer Nick Tauber.
The Transmitters are Sarah Fay Coombes - lead vocal, Matt McHugh - guitar, Aaron - bass and vocals, Rick McHugh - Drums, K Hondorado - keyboards.
