In Youngstown, Ohio, a band that would come to
be known as The Redlights was derived from a
popular local acoustic duo called Jay and Dan
Unplugged. After several successful
performances, Jay and Dan decided to take their
sound to the next level by forming The Redlights in
February of 2004. After a few line-up changes, the
band finally found the chemistry they were
searching for in bassist Kyle Countryman and
drummer Kyle Blattert. Their music has become
one of a kind - a catchy mix of pop, rock, and power
that can withstand the test of time. They are trying
to bring back music that has true meaning behind
it and music that people can relate to. Through
many successful concerts and positive
experiences, The Redlights have risen to meet the
challenges of overcoming the metal and hard rock
scene that surrounds their hometown. All of these
experiences have helped shape the band and
helped them develop into what they have become today...
