The New York City based alternative band, “The Fighting” was formed by singer: Gage Jung, over 2 and a half years ago. After many attempts in the search for the right band, it seemed like the obvious choice was to join forces with his brother, guitarist: Eric (who was pursuing his own musical ventures at the time). They hooked up with drummer: Dawn McGrath (while performing at a bar in Brooklyn). Together they make up the fighting, an intense new band, with catchy melodies on top of heavy guitar riffs.

Front man, Gage has been producing for the local and the underground scene; working on independent projects at Firstrowrecords for about 6 years. The Fighting spawned from an alternative metal band called, “Rocklyn Heights”(focused on political and social issues); which has now developed into an emotionally charged band with attitude, which comes across through the vocalist’s screams and catchy melodies.
