Atlanta power-pop group That Rabbit's Dyn-o-mite! serves up lush melodic tunes with a pitch-black wit. With hints of The Pixies, Weezer, Green Day, The Cars and The Strokes, TRD's unique sound is a bit hard to pin down, but the wide range of influences are tied neatly together with singer Zach McBrayer's rich harmonies and guitarist Justin Nihiser's bottomless hooks. If Elliott Smith fronted a garage glam band, it might sound something like this. This dynamic five-piece formed in the spring of 2004 in the wake of several previous projects to make dark and edgy music dressed up in a vivid pop sound. Since its formation, TRD has worked tirelessly to write and record its first full release. Completed in February of 2005, their debut work builds a bridge between indie rock and radio pop with a sound that is unflinchingly quirky, urgent and accessible.

“...peel away the layers and you’ll find something that one might not expect in the center... partly innocent, subversively kinky, and overall just a little bit unsettling... It’s certainly recommended listening, just be sure to check your preconceptions about what this Rabbit can do at the door.”

“TRD has managed to put together an original sound with solid lyrics... the music is memorable and intriguing, compelling the listener to want to come back for seconds to pick up what they missed the first time around.”
-- King Kudzu Magazine
“This is one of the craziest CDs I've been given the honour to review... the CD is fun, poppy, catchy, and feisty... every time that I throw in this CD... I remember that I think it's great, but each time I listen to it, I'm still surprised by HOW great I think it is... another gem of the local Atlanta rock scene."
