A pure musician, Taylor works from over 20 years of classical training and extensive musical exposure to lay the foundations of his songs. He seamlessly combines these elements into his own brand of acoustic songwriting which is poignantly original. Taylor's roots are mainly Rock and Roll, Alternative and Folk, and though both styles are evident in his songs he manages to combine the two into an entirely new animal. Taylor has been playing in clubs in Dallas, Austin and Waco for the past three years while he continually develops his songwriting. His venues include: The Door, The Liquid Lounge (Deep Ellum, TX); The Steamboat (Autsin, TX); and Common Grounds (Waco, TX). He has opened for Michael Celedon (MichaelCeledon.com) and writes songs for his sister Lauren (LaurenHerzog.com). Taylor also teaches guitar and music theory lessons in Dallas.
