A combination of Jewish and Ukrainian music roots with spoonful of Oriental influences creates a unique style of the band. Musicians use rare percussions and wind instruments of Eastern Europe and Mediterranean in unexpected combinations.Also Gypsy, Russian, Balkan folk music are in the repertoire of the band. The band also cooperates with different singers.

Tapuach beDvash

Tapuach beDvash (Apple with Honey) is an Israeli folk music band that was founded in 2003 by Anatoly Geyko, arranger and multi-instrumental player. Five musicians of the band immigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union in 1995-2000. Each member of the group bring along years of rich and diverse performing experience. The blend of their talents and backgrounds, unpredictable arrangements and performing of old music captured the attention of wide Israeli audience and brought great successful to the band. "We are neither looking for modern rhythms nor for newest electronic sounds. We merely use our life experience and new impressions to create our music"- says Anatoly Geyko. Traditions of Jewish East European music and Ukrainian instrumental folk music are merged with the Oriental influences and combined in an evocative music performance. The group appears regularly all over Israel from prestigious concert halls (as Holon Theatre Concert Hall, Azrieli Concert Hall and others) to concerts in kibbuz' halls in the south and north of Israel, in various Israeli festivals (Festivals of Yiddish culture, Safed, Tel-Aviv and Raanana klezmer festivals(2003-2007), Festival "Main Shtetl" in Ashdod (2005-7) and others) and in International festivals of England (2005), Austria (2006), Macedonia (2007).
