Tab was born in Harlem, New York, and raised in the Bronx. Later, he moved to the South. Music was always a part of his life; it felt right to him and came naturally. At an early age, he developed a deep affinity and appreciation for it. Initially inspired by the Beatles and the Jackson 5, he was later inspired by the singing/songwriting/production prowess of John Lennon, Paul McCarthy, Al Green, Jerry Butler, Lou Rawls, Barry White, Prince, and Babyface; Barry White, Lou Rawls, and Babyface being his mentors. He performs with a live band, sings, & does spoken word in and around the Atlanta area. Tab is on a mission to restore Love to the world via music, song, and the spoken word, thereby helping to re-establishing music’s true beauty, quality, and substance. He believes the People deserve this, subscribing to the truth that the power of Music is much bigger than the musician, and its Message is far greater than the messenger.
