The story starts in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico, on May 29th, 2001, when Andrés Mata (Vocals, Guitars), Hernán Sosa (Bass, Backup Vocals) and Antonio Rivera (drums) meet with a great desire of making a band. On 2003, SYN records "Speed Away", a 10-track hard-hitting alternative rock album.

With that, they escalated up to the highest ranks in town, being most requested in the biggest local radio station (EXA 101.9 FM) for 2 weeks, and with Andrés working on music column Decibeles, of the NORESTE newspaper. Andrés then returned to his place of birth, San José, Costa Rica, and got a deal with a nation-wide station, 103 FM Costa Rica, where "Breathe" was ranked high above acts like limpbizkit and Chevelle.

"Speed Away" has sold and spread like fast food in town, it was rated one of the must-have albums on a local radio station (102.7 Stereovida), and rated the best breakthrough local album of 2003.
